Our annual celebration and performance honoring the 26 individuals who participated in the Woolworth lunch counter sit-in on February 11th, 1960 has been postponed to Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 7pm.
You are cordially invited to attend our annual celebration and performance honoring the 26 individuals who participated in the Woolworth lunch counter sit-in on February 11, 1960, in downtown High Point, NC.
Our performance will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 7pm in the Samuel E. Burford Auditorium at Penn-Griffin School for the Arts.
This celebration will feature presentations from all of our arts’ programs at Penn-Griffin School for the Arts: Band, Chorus, Dance, Guitar, Orchestra, Theatre, and Visual Arts. We will have a guest speaker from the Greensboro/High Point community to celebrate the occasion as well.
We at PGSA hope that you will be able to attend this celebration. It is a monumental event for our school, and we would absolutely love to share this experience with you. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
